A collection of papers based on talks given at the Workshop on Structured Adaptive Mesh Refinement (SAMR) Grid Methods. Divided into two parts, this work describes research to improve the understanding of the SAMR's application to practical problems, and identifies issues critical to efficient implementation on high performance computers.
