Ownership, Control and Ideology (1969) looks at the debate surrounding issues of ownership and control. It analyses a large body of existing literature from several disciplines, examining the âfactualâ issues but also showing that the terminology of the debate also requires fundamental re-analysis. In addition an empirical study of directors and senior managers is used to explore the businessmanâs definition of the situation.
